What I do for fun: In my free time, I love to unwind with a good audiobook, letting stories take me on new adventures while I relax. I’m also a big fan of watching movies—especially those that make me laugh and feel joyful. They’re the perfect way to lift my spirits and remind me of the simple joys in life.
And of course, I have a deep love for exploring the culinary arts—experimenting with new recipes and flavors is one of my favorite ways to unwind. Whether it’s cooking a new dish or curling up with a cozy blanket and a feel-good movie, I always try to make time for the things that bring me joy and balance.
What I like about MCHC: It’s a privilege to work at Mariposa Community Health Center, a place that has meant so much to me both personally and professionally. My journey with Mariposa began as a teenager when I worked as a Teen Health Facilitator. During that time, I learned what it means to be a patient supporter, and I saw firsthand the impact that compassionate care can have on a person’s life.
I’ve always believed in the power of holistic care, and Mariposa shares that vision—making it a place where I can truly make a difference.
What truly sets Mariposa apart is its dedication to empowering individuals through care that’s not only accessible, but also culturally sensitive. The relationships we build with our patients are based on trust, and I feel incredibly grateful to be a part of a team that helps people not just heal, but thrive.
Working at Mariposa is not just a job—it’s a calling. It's a place where I can use the skills I’ve learned over the years to support others, just as I was supported when I was younger. I’m honored to be part of a clinic that values the health of the whole person, and I’m excited to continue this journey with such a passionate and caring team.
