Payment Information

Mariposa accepts all commercial insurance plans such as Health Net, Blue Cross Blue Shield, plus Medicare, Medicare HMO’s and the AHCCCS plans – Health Choice and University Family Care.

For those patients without insurance, Mariposa has the following two discount programs to assist qualifying patients afford the care they need.

The Mariposa Health Plan

The Mariposa Health Plan is a discount program designed to bridge the health care gap that exists for many Santa Cruz County residents who are uninsured and whose income falls below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level. Santa Cruz Health Connection

Santa Cruz Health Connection (SCHC) is another innovation of Mariposa Community Health Center that is designed to insure that access to hospital and specialty physician care is available to all who need it.  SCHC provides a comprehensive continuum of specialty and hospital care at deeply discounted rates.  The program is a premium based plan that is available for $40 a year to those who are uninsured and whose income falls between 100% - 250% of the federal poverty level.  For more information, please call 1-800-311-0627.
