If you enjoy sports, as a player or a spectator, there are numerous opportunities in Santa Cruz County and southern Arizona.  In addition to the school sponsored sports, local little league, softball, soccer, basketball and swimming teams are available to area youth.  There is also local men’s city league soccer, plus basketball, bowling and co-ed softball teams.

If you’re into college sports, the University of Arizona in Tucson is a leading competitor in the PAC-10 in virtually all sports.  If you like professional sports, the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Cardinals and Phoenix Coyotes all have great venues in Phoenix.  For baseball fans, the annual Cactus League spring training is a huge draw to the Phoenix area as 15 major league teams have made the Phoenix area their annual spring training venue..
